Olivet Middle School

Keith's Game

Keith was a special boy who in the most adorable way and boundary issues. The took place at Olivet Middle School in Olivet, Michigan. The football team at Olivet Middle School decides to do something grand for their special buddy Keith. The football team went behind the coaches back and made their own play: to get as close to the touchdown zone as possible without scoring a touchdown. Of course the crowd did not like it but one they got close enough, they gave Keith the ball. When it was time for the play, all the boys huddle around Keith to keep him protected from the other team and they let Keith make the touchdown. Even thought their team was behind, the touchdown Keith made was so awesome and emotional they felt as if they actually had won. Thanks to the kind hearts of the boys on the football team, Keith was one of the most popular guys in school and now part of the team.

Student Success Statement

"They're only truly great who are truly good."
George Chapman

Reflection: I agree with this statement by George Chapman because only those who have a kind and noble heart are the people who are truly good. A person can not be or do good if they always make bad choices in life. A good person is someone who is honest, trustworthy, respectful, kind, and is someone who always keeps their promises.

Cheating: Is the short term gain worth the long term pain?

"Many thing that the short term gain is worth the long term pain,

 but it isn't.

In addition, Using steroids is cheating,

And there is nothing worse than a cheater.

 Don't do it. "

GEORGE MITCHELL senate majority leader,

 Presidential Medal of Freedom,

Disney Chairman of the Board.

Reflection: This quote is completely true. No small or short lasting victory is worth a long lasting effect that it may have on your body, reputation, or character. Once you do something bad you are labeled as a person who cannot be trusted. Cheating in any way can give you a small victory but once in o=comes out that you cheated and everyone knows, you are someone who does not follow the rules and someone who does not know the difference between right or wrong.
