Duties and Responsibilities: A dental lab technician must fill in orders for dental prosthetics including dentures, crowns, veneers, and inlays. They also need manual dexterity and some technical skills, and most technicians learn through on-the-job training
Salary: $36,440 median
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Junior college programs
- Associates degree that must be accredited
Reflection: Do you think you would like to become one? Why or why not?
-The works of a dental lab technician seem like a fairly easy job. It does not ask much from a person in terms of school because you learn the most while on the job. In my opinion, thought sounding like somewhat fun, I do not think I would like to be a dental lab technician because I would not like to have to reach into others' mouths and smell their breathe.
