Duties and Responsibilities: An allopathic physician is a medical doctor who treats disorders and injuries by methods aimed at counteracting the problems. They are able to prescribe antibiotics to treat a bacterial infection. They often work in public or private hospitals or clinics and many have private practices. 

Salary: $100,000-$275,000

Education: Doctoral degree in medicine, three year residency is required.

Reflection: Do you think you would like to be one? Why or why not?

    I do not think I would like to be one because I would not like to see all of those people that are injured.
