Reflection: I agree with Joseph B. Wirthlin because to be great, you must be above all kind to those around you. If you are being mean to someone that is not being great that is just being a bully, but being kind can do many things for you. Not only do you gain a good name with being kind but you feel better after doing what you know was the right thing.

Thanksgiving Day

Thanksgiving Day

-Thanksgiving is a day celebrated in the United States every fourth Thursday of November. It became an official holiday in 1863. On this day Americans gather for a grand feast to give thanks for all they have. The first thanksgiving was celebrated by the Pilgrims after their first harvest in the new world in 1621. The first feast lasted three days, and was attended by 90 Native Americans and 53 Pilgrims. Thanksgiving was founded as a religious observance for all the members of the community for give thanks to God for a common purpose.

Reflection: I believe thanksgiving is a wonderful day to celebrate because most people do not say thanks you enough for all that they have. This day is to reflect about all you have gone through and say thank you that you were still able to see another year. Here are some things I am grateful for:

• My health and well-being.
• The health and well-being of my family and friends.
• The fact that my grandmother is out of the hospital and doing well.
• I have a roof over my head.
• We have food on the table.
• Being loved by those around me.
• I am thankful for being able to see another year.

Reflection: Marcus Aurelius is right because it is always best to do the right thing, For example, if you know cheating of a test is bad do not do it. If you get caught cheating on a test, do not lie about how you were not cheating because that is not doing the right thing. 

Dental Assistant

Dental Assistant

Duties and Responsibilities: The duties of a dental assistant include preparing patients for treatments and teeth cleanings, plus sterilizing instruments. They also often assist dentists in their procedures by using suction equipment to clear patients' mouths. They might also process oral X-rays and help maintain patient records.

Salary: $47,580 a year

Education; This job does not necessarily require formal training, but a dentist assistant must pass the Certified Dental Assistant exam.

Reflection: Do you think you would like to become one? Why or why not?

-For my personal interest, I would not like to become a dental assistant because of my fear of hurting the patient while cleaning their teeth or messing up the dentist while they are doing their procedure. Overall, this seems like a good job but it is just not for me. 

Dental Lab Technician

Dental Lab Technician 

Duties and Responsibilities: A dental lab technician  must fill in orders for dental prosthetics including dentures, crowns, veneers, and inlays. They create models for patients' mouths from physical and sometimes computerized molds. A dental technician may specialize in one or two aspects of dental prosthetics. They also need manual dexterity and some technical skills, and most technicians learn through on-the-job training

Salary: $36,440 median

Education: 

• High school diploma or equivalent 
• Junior college programs
• Associates degree that must be accredited

Reflection: Do you think you would like to become one? Why or why not?

-The works of a dental lab technician seem like a fairly easy job. It does not ask much from a person in terms of school because you learn the most while on the job. In my opinion, thought sounding like somewhat fun, I do not think I would like to be a dental lab technician because I would not like to have to reach into others' mouths and smell their breathe.

Reflection: I agree with this quote by James lark because, it may not seem like much but any little thing you do today can affect your life tomorrow and the day after and so on. That is why it is always important to do the right thing today so you can have a positive outcome tomorrow, but if you choose the wrong the opposite might just happen.
