Veterans Day

Veterans Day was originally "Armistice Day". This day is celebrate in honor of those who served their nations. It is on November 11 that we celebrate this day because on the 11 hour of the 11 day of the 11 month of 1918 everything was quiet - the war had ended. exactly a year later, it was declared that all citizens spend a day to remember and honor all veterans of all american wars. 

Reflection: I think that we should not only remember those who fought for us and to protect our country but honor it with a passion that without them we would not have all that we have today. Those who survived any american war are heroes in the eyes of who they protected.
