·         Conducting research.
·         Leading a team of mental healthcare providers.
Average Salary: $90,000-$200.000
Educational Requirements: Bachelors, Masters, Ph.D. degrees
In addition to completing the requirements for a degree in allopathic or osteopathic medicine, psychiatrists must complete an intensive three year residency in psychiatry.

Reflection: Do you think you would like to be one? Why? Why not?

I think I would like to be a psychiatrist because I like to work with people and give advice. It is also a good pay job. I see myself as a patient person to be able to work with others and hear their problems. I have always been very fascinated by how the brain works and being a psychiatrist working with electrotherapy would be great.
