Obedience

Obedience 

Definition: Obedience is a type of behavior. It is when you listen to the orders given to you by an authority figure without questioning them.

Synonyms:
  • Respectful
  • Law-abiding
  • Devoted
   An example of obedience would be when your parents ask you to do something like your chores and you do them, that is being obedient because you are listening to an authority figure. Another example would be an obedient soldier. A soldier is meant to take orders from his commander and to be prepared at all times.
